CVE-2022-45448Network attack vector

Cross-site scripting via unsanitized template parameter

Published Sep 20, 2023 · Updated Sep 6, 2024

Cross-site scripting in PrestaShop M4 PDF Extensions 3.2.3 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to alter generated documents. When /m4pdf/pdf.php cannot find the requested template, its mPDF fallback incorporates a supplied valid HTML/CSS document without neutralizing active markup. Exploitation requires module access and user interaction; the demonstrated consequence is attacker-controlled content in the generated document.
