CVE-2022-45438Network attack vector

Unauthenticated metadata disclosure via dashboard cache

Published Jan 16, 2023 · Updated Apr 7, 2025

Information disclosure in Apache Superset 1.5.2 and earlier and 2.0.0 allows remote attackers to read dashboard metadata via REST. The affected REST GET path serves cached dashboard configuration metadata without authenticating the requester. Exploitation requires the DASHBOARD_CACHE feature flag, which is disabled by default, and exposes configuration data without altering it.
