CVE-2022-45435Network attack vector

Unauthorized work-item forwarding via incomplete identity scope enforcement

Published Jan 31, 2023 · Updated Mar 27, 2025

Incorrect authorization in SailPoint IdentityIQ 8.3p1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to alter identity work-item forwarding. The identity-forwarding authorization path accepts Identity Administrator or a custom capability containing SetIdentityForwarding but fails to enforce the Lifecycle Manager Quicklink Population restriction on which identities may be changed. Exploitation requires one of those capabilities and permits forwarding changes only; SailPoint has not published a deeper code-level locus.
