Published Dec 27, 2022 · Updated Apr 14, 2025
Unrestricted file upload in affected Dahua DSS products allows remote authenticated users with administrator rights to upload arbitrary files. The affected upload interface accepts a specially crafted network packet without restricting the file type; Dahua has not disclosed the endpoint or handler. Administrator access to the web-facing server is required; the upload enables arbitrary file writes and can disrupt the DSS service.
