AES key disclosure via hard-coded cryptographic key
Published Dec 27, 2022 · Updated Apr 14, 2025
Hard-coded credentials in Dahua DSS Professional, DSS Express, and DHI-DSS appliances allow remote attackers to obtain an AES key. Dahua identifies only the use of a hard-coded cryptographic key and does not disclose the storage location, affected function, or retrieval operation. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the documented consequence is limited to disclosure of the AES key.
