Authenticated deletion via missing permission check
Published Nov 15, 2022 · Updated Apr 30, 2025
Missing authorization in Jenkins Cluster Statistics Plugin 0.4.6 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to delete recorded statistics via an HTTP endpoint. The endpoint performs no permission check before deleting stored cluster statistics, and it also accepts requests without requiring POST. Overall/Read permission is sufficient to reach the deletion operation, causing loss of recorded Jenkins cluster statistics without evidence of code execution or confidentiality impact.
