Agent secret extraction via unsafe XML parsing
Published Nov 15, 2022 · Updated Apr 30, 2025
XXE in Jenkins CCCC Plugin 0.6 and earlier allows attackers to read agent secrets or make server-side requests through report files. The Publish CCCC Report post-build step parses attacker-controlled XML on Jenkins agents without disabling external entity resolution. Impact requires control of a report file without the broader ability to change build steps, Jenkinsfiles, test code, or other executable build inputs.
