Credential ID disclosure via unchecked form endpoint
Published Nov 15, 2022 · Updated Apr 30, 2025
Missing authorization in Jenkins loader.io Plugin 1.0.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to enumerate stored credential IDs. The doFillApiKeyItems HTTP form endpoint queries LoaderCredential objects with SYSTEM privileges and returns descriptions or IDs without an endpoint-specific permission check. Overall/Read permission is sufficient; the disclosure identifies credentials that can support a separate credential-capture attack.
