Secret extraction or SSRF via external entities

Published Nov 15, 2022 · Updated Apr 30, 2025

XXE in Jenkins Project Violations Plugin 0.7.11 and earlier allows attackers to extract agent secrets or issue server-side requests. The Report Violations post-build step passes attacker-controlled XML to an agent-side parser that leaves external entity resolution enabled.
