Credential exposure in Jenkins Reverse Proxy Auth Plugin 1.7.3 and earlier allows local users to read the LDAP manager password. The plugin stores the LDAP manager password as an unencrypted value in the Jenkins controller's global config.xml file. Exploitation requires controller file-system access, and the consequence is disclosure of the configured LDAP credential.
