Unauthenticated code execution via unchecked CSV upload
Published Dec 6, 2022 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Arbitrary file upload in YITH WooCommerce Gift Cards 3.19.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute PHP on WordPress sites. The import_actions_from_settings_panel function runs on admin_init and moves file_import_csv into uploads without capability, CSRF, or file-type checks. An unauthenticated request to admin-post.php can therefore place an executable backdoor and take control of the site.
