Authenticated SSRF via external XML entity resolution
Published Dec 6, 2022 · Updated Apr 23, 2025
XML external entity injection in Kwoksys Kwok Information Server before 2.9.5.SP31 allows remote authenticated users to trigger SSRF. The server's XML processor resolves attacker-declared external entity URIs and issues outbound requests to the referenced resources. High-privilege authentication is required; the bounded consequence is server-originated network requests and disclosure of data reachable through them.
