Login-block bypass via trusted X-Forwarded-For header
Published Sep 5, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
IP address spoofing in Security, Antivirus, Firewall – S.A.F 2.3.5 and earlier allows remote attackers to bypass IP-based login blocks. The wptsafEnv.php request logic trusts the client-supplied X-Forwarded-For header when selecting the address used for request logs and login restrictions. No authentication is required, but an IP-based login restriction must be enabled for the spoofed address to affect access control.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
