Root code execution via unchecked .appl length

Heap-based buffer overflow in Netatalk 1.5.0 through 2.2.8 and 3.0.0 through 3.1.14 allows attackers to execute code via crafted .appl data. afp_getappl reads a 16-bit length and copies that many bytes into the 4,097-byte oldtmp buffer without checking that the data fits. On FreeBSD with vol dbnest enabled, remote attackers can overwrite fce_notify_script and run a shell command as root; other systems expose local privilege escalation.
