Authenticated database-field disclosure via getEditFieldHTML
Published Jan 7, 2025 · Updated Jan 8, 2025
Improper authorization in SuiteCRM 7.12.7 allows remote authenticated users to read arbitrary database fields through a web request. The getEditFieldHTML action accepts attacker-selected field and record identifiers and returns their values without enforcing field-level authorization. Any valid account can request sensitive fields from other records, including the administrator username and password hash, without administrative privileges.
