CVE-2022-45183Network attack vector

Privilege escalation via cross-token endpoint access

Published Nov 14, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024

Privilege escalation in Ironman Software PowerShell Universal 2.x and 3.x allows remote authenticated users to retrieve other app tokens by ID. The App Token endpoint's authorization logic accepts one valid token as sufficient to return another token associated with the same user. A valid app token is required; successful requests disclose other same-user app tokens and enable use of their assigned privileges.
