Unauthenticated command injection via module parameter
Published Nov 11, 2022 · Updated May 1, 2025
Command injection in Pi-Star_DV_Dash before 5aa194d allows remote attackers to execute commands via a crafted module parameter. The dashboard's dstarrepeater/link_manager.php and admin/admin.php paths accept POST Module input; the UNLINK branch bypasses the regular-character filter, allowing shell metacharacters to reach downstream link-management commands. The web dashboard must be reachable without authentication, and successful exploitation can compromise confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
