Stored XSS via unsanitized getbodyfile URI parameter
Published Jun 10, 2024 · Updated Aug 19, 2024
Stored XSS in Livebox Srl vDESK 0 through 031 allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript in another user's browser via vShare. The /api/v1/getbodyfile endpoint saves the uri parameter without adequate validation, then returns crafted JavaScript for browser execution. The request is network-reachable without privileges, but another user must retrieve the stored content; effects remain within that user's browser context.
