Reflected XSS via unescaped login redirect parameter
Published Dec 15, 2022 · Updated Apr 15, 2025
Cross-site scripting in Opencaching Deutschland oc-server3 allows remote authenticated users to run script in another user's browser via varvalue. The varset.inc.php request loop allowlists parameter names but appends each unencoded value to the login target URL, permitting markup and script injection. Low-privileged access is required, and a victim must follow the crafted flow before the injected script executes in that victim's browser.
