CVE-2022-45139Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Device information disclosure via wildcard CORS response

Published Feb 27, 2023 · Updated Mar 10, 2025

CORS misconfiguration in WAGO controller and panel web management allows remote attackers to read limited device information. Appending /x.pdf to any web-management API endpoint makes the server return a wildcard Access-Control-Allow-Origin header, authorizing cross-origin calls. A malicious website opened inside the control network can read basic information pages, including CPU diagnostics; stronger effects require separate flaws.
