XXE in FB.XML parsing in VISAM GmbH VBASE before 11.7.5 allows remote attackers to read sensitive data through a crafted file. The XML parser resolves an external-entity URI from the document and embeds the retrieved contents into the XML for further processing. A valid user must visit a malicious page or open the file, and disclosure is limited to information accessible to the current process.
