Path traversal in Siemens SINEC INS before 1.0 SP2 Update 1 allows remote authenticated users to read and write arbitrary files. The Web Based Management interface on TCP port 443 is the exposed locus, but Siemens does not disclose the affected endpoint or pathname-handling error. A valid account and management-interface access are required; successful file writes can lead to arbitrary code execution on the server.
