Administrator-level stored XSS via unsanitized settings
Published Nov 18, 2022 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Stored XSS in Oxilab Accordions – Multiple Accordions or FAQs Builder 2.0.3 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to run scripts. The plugin accepts the addons-style-name and accordions_or_faqs_license_key settings without sufficient sanitization and later emits stored values without output escaping. Administrator privileges are required to plant the payload, and a user must open an affected page before the script executes in that user's browser.
