Spreadsheet formula execution via unescaped CSV exports
Published Nov 7, 2023 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
CSV injection in Solwin Infotech User Blocker 1.5.5 and earlier allows attackers to embed executable formulas in exported data. The blocked-user CSV export writes stored field values without neutralizing leading spreadsheet formula characters. Administrator access is required to plant the value, and exploitation requires a privileged user to export and open the file in spreadsheet software.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
