Database extraction via command parameter SQL injection
Published Apr 15, 2023 · Updated Feb 6, 2025
SQL injection in rConfig 3.9.7 allows remote authenticated users to read or alter database data through a crafted command parameter. The lib/ajaxHandlers/ajaxCompareGetCmdDates.php endpoint incorporates the command value into an SQL query without neutralizing SQL syntax. Low-privileged application access is required; the public exploit targets database extraction, while server-file access depends on MySQL secure-file-priv.
