CVE-2022-45003Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Browser denial of service via autofocus reload loop

Published Mar 22, 2023 · Updated Feb 25, 2025

Denial of service in Gophish 0.12.1 and earlier allows attackers to force repeated browser reloads through a crafted landing page. The landing-page renderer accepts HTML whose autofocus-triggered onfocus handler assigns an empty value to document.location, reloading the page and retriggering the handler. The published exploit requires access to create and render a landing page; it interrupts the viewing browser without reported data exposure or modification.
