Authenticated script execution via meeting name injection
Published Dec 2, 2022 · Updated Jul 9, 2026
Stored XSS in webtareas 2.4p5 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary script in another user's browser via a meeting name. The Meetings feature stores a crafted Name value and later renders it through /meetings/listmeetings.php without neutralizing executable HTML. Exploitation requires an authenticated attacker to add the meeting and another user to view the stored entry, exposing that user's web session to script actions.
