DLL hijacking in Efs Software Easy Chat Server 3.1 allows local users to execute arbitrary code through a crafted TextShaping.dll. The application searches its installation path for the absent library and loads an attacker-supplied same-name DLL without constraining resolution. Exploitation requires local DLL placement and user interaction to start the application; the payload then runs in the application's security context.
