Published Jan 16, 2023 · Updated Apr 8, 2025
Stored XSS in ShapedPlugin LLC Easy Accordion before 2.2.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts via shortcode attributes. The efaccordion shortcode outputs its id attribute into page markup without validation or context-appropriate escaping, preserving injected event handlers or script syntax. Contributor-level access is required to store the payload, which executes when a higher-privileged user views or interacts with the affected page.
