CVE-2022-44760Network attack vector

Authenticated script execution via unsafe file filter

Published Apr 24, 2025 · Updated Apr 25, 2025

Unrestricted file upload in HCL Leap 9.0 through 9.3 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript in deployed applications. The default attachment-file filter policy permits JavaScript-bearing file types instead of rejecting them, so uploaded active content runs when an affected application loads it. An authenticated uploader and user interaction are required, after which the script can read or alter data available to the browser context.
