Client-side script injection via unsanitized SVG files
Published Apr 24, 2025 · Updated Apr 25, 2025
Cross-site scripting in HCL Leap 9.0 through 9.3 allows remote authenticated users to inject client-side script through SVG files. The SVG handling fails to neutralize script-bearing content before a deployed application renders the file in a visitor's browser. Exploitation requires low-privileged network access and a user to open the affected application, enabling script execution in that user's browser context.
