CVE-2022-44719Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Protected-network access via default SSH forwarding

Published Jun 29, 2023 · Updated Nov 27, 2024

Improper SSH configuration in Weblib UCOPIA before 6.0.13 allows remote authenticated users to proxy connections into protected networks. The /etc/ssh/sshd_config file omits AllowTcpForwarding, so OpenSSH applies its enabled-by-default setting and permits TCP and UNIX-socket forwarding. An administrator SSH credential, potentially left at its documented default, is required; the appliance can then relay access to internal networks and local services.
