Path traversal in Trend Micro Apex One before 14.0.0.11126 and SaaS before 14.0.11789 allows local users to execute code as SYSTEM. The Client Plug-in Service Manager uses a user-supplied path in file operations without validating that it remains within the intended directory. Low-privileged code execution on an affected Windows host is required, after which arbitrary code runs with SYSTEM privileges.
