Out-of-bounds read in Trend Micro Apex One 2019 allows local users to disclose sensitive information through the Security Agent. The User Mode Hooking Monitor Engine insufficiently validates user-supplied data and reads past the end of an allocated buffer. Exploitation requires low-privileged code execution on Windows; the disclosed memory can support a separate privilege-escalation chain to SYSTEM.
