Command execution via guessable authentication information
Published Dec 7, 2022 · Updated Apr 23, 2025
Improper authentication in UNIMO UDR-JA recorders through 71x10.1.107112.43A allows remote authenticated users to access devices. The firmware accepts guessable authentication information, supplying credentials that expose command-execution or device-settings functionality. Network access and authenticated reachability are required; successful abuse enables arbitrary OS-command execution or device-setting changes.
