Improper input validation in BIOS firmware for some Intel processors allows attackers to escalate privileges through adjacent access. Intel has not published the affected BIOS routine, the input involved, or the validation operation that fails. Intel describes adjacent access as the gate, while its prose names a privileged user and its CVSS vector records no prior privileges; exploitation can alter integrity and interrupt service.
