Stored XSS via unescaped post fields
Published Nov 17, 2022 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Stored XSS in the Anthologize plugin 0.8.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts through crafted post fields. The plugin accepts post_title, post_status, and other post fields without sufficient sanitization and later renders them without output escaping. Administrator privileges are required to store a payload, and another user must open the affected page for the script to execute in that user's browser.
