Published Feb 6, 2023 · Updated Mar 26, 2025
Stored XSS in EDGE22 Studios Ltd. WP Show Posts before 1.1.4 allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts through shortcode settings. The settings parser merges attacker-controlled values and emits wrapper attributes into page markup without adequate validation or output escaping. Contributor access is sufficient to save the payload; script execution occurs when a viewing user previews the post and interacts with the injected element.
