Published Nov 9, 2022 · Updated May 1, 2025

Intent redirection in Huawei HarmonyOS 2.0 and EMUI 11.0.1, 12.0.0, and 12.0.1 allows attackers to modify launcher module data. Huawei has not published the launcher entry point, the Intent fields it accepts, or the validation error that permits the redirection. The published assessment requires no privileges or user interaction and bounds the consequence to launcher-data modification.
