Path traversal in the Aruba EdgeConnect Enterprise Software CLI allows remote authenticated users to read arbitrary operating-system files. HPE identifies the CLI as the affected locus but does not publish the command, path argument, or failed validation operation that permits traversal. Affected releases end at ECOS 9.2.1.0, 9.1.3.0, 9.0.7.0, and 8.3.7.1; exploitation requires high-privilege access and exposes sensitive files without reported write or service-interruption effects.
