CVE-2022-44457Network attack vector

Authentication bypass via captured packet replay

Published Nov 8, 2022 · Updated May 1, 2025

Authentication bypass in Siemens Mendix SAML allows remote attackers to access an application by replaying a captured SAML packet. The module accepts previously captured authentication traffic without sufficient replay protection when Allow Idp Initiated Authentication is enabled. The gate is a discouraged, non-default configuration; successful replay grants application access without valid credentials.
