CVE-2022-44456Network attack vector

Unauthenticated OS command execution via crafted request

Published Dec 19, 2022 · Updated Apr 17, 2025

OS command injection in CONTEC CONPROSYS HMI System (CHS) 3.4.4 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands. Public advisories identify a specially crafted unauthenticated request but do not disclose the vulnerable endpoint, parameter, or command-building operation. Network access to the web service is sufficient, and successful exploitation runs commands on the CHS server, enabling data access, modification, or service interruption.
