Stored script execution via search form
Published Dec 21, 2022 · Updated Apr 16, 2025
Stored XSS in the search form in Zenphoto before 1.6 allows remote authenticated users with administrative privileges to run scripts. The 1.6 release identifies the search form as the affected locus, but Zenphoto has not published the input field or missing output-neutralization step. Exploitation requires an administrator to store the payload and another user to load the affected output, executing it in that user's browser.
