Local WLAN service denial via integer overflow
Published Jan 4, 2023 · Updated Apr 10, 2025
Integer overflow in UNISOC WLAN firmware on Android 10 through 12 allows local users to interrupt WLAN services through the driver. An undisclosed WLAN driver function omits bounds checks on a parameter, allowing an integer calculation to overflow. Local access is required, and the documented consequence is limited to interruption of WLAN services.
