Cellular service interruption via replayed LTE security commands

Improper replay protection in the UNISOC LTE modem on Android 10 through 13 allows remote attackers to interrupt cellular service. The modem processes replayed NAS Security Mode Commands without verifying their freshness, allowing prior control messages to disrupt modem operation. The attack is delivered over an LTE network without authentication or user interaction, and the reported consequence is limited to a service interruption.
