Administrator SQL injection via unfiltered table identifier
Published Jan 27, 2023 · Updated Mar 28, 2025
SQL injection in SiteServer CMS 7.1.3 allows remote authenticated users with administrator privileges to execute crafted SQL expressions. SitesTablesController.GetColumns passes a path-supplied table identifier through DatabaseManager quoting that returns it without filtering before MySQL query construction. The affected API route requires an administrator bearer token and a MySQL-backed deployment; the published proof of concept demonstrates error-based extraction.
