Database disclosure via Boolean-based id parameter injection
Published Dec 2, 2022 · Updated Jul 9, 2026
SQL injection in phasesets.php in webTareas 2.4p5 allows remote authenticated users to read database data through the id parameter. The delete-mode endpoint evaluates crafted Boolean expressions in id, returning distinct 200 and 302 responses that expose a Boolean oracle. The published proof of concept supplies a valid webTareas session cookie and extracts the database version one character at a time.
