Authenticated arbitrary file deletion via path traversal
Published Nov 23, 2022 · Updated Apr 25, 2025
Path traversal in Automotive Shop Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to delete arbitrary files through delete_img. The delete_img action in /asms/classes/Master.php fails to confine the deletion path to an intended directory before removing the referenced file. Administrative access is required, and successful exploitation can destroy application or host data and interrupt service.
