Stored browser script execution via unencoded employee names
Published Dec 9, 2022 · Updated Apr 22, 2025
Stored cross-site scripting in ZKTeco ZKBio ECO ADMS 3.1-164 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute script in another user's browser. The Employee form stores an Emp Name value without neutralizing injected HTML, and the Employee list renders it so an image error handler executes. Administrative access is required to add the employee, and another user's viewing of the list triggers code in that user's web session without reported service interruption.
