Unauthenticated memory corruption via crafted time parameters
Published Nov 22, 2022 · Updated Apr 29, 2025
Buffer overflow in /usr/sbin/httpd in NETGEAR R7000P 1.3.1.64 allows remote attackers to corrupt memory via crafted time fields. The HTTP daemon processes the starthour, startminute, endhour, and endminute parameters, but public sources do not identify the faulty copy or bounds operation. Network access without authentication or user interaction reaches the flaw; public records do not establish whether corruption causes a crash or code execution.
